Reporter today (24) from the Ministry of Education was informed that recently, the Ministry of Education National Youth Campus Football Work Leading Group issued the "2022 National Youth Campus Football Highlights", improve the class, school, county, city, provincial, national six levels, elementary school, junior high school, high school, university four-level league and summer camp competition system, the highest level of the elementary school stage tournament for the city level, the conditions of local organizations can be provincial The highest level tournament at the elementary school level is at the municipal level, and provincial-level tournaments can be organized in places with conditions, and national-level tournaments are set at the junior high school, high school and university levels; and the schedule of national tournaments in 2022 was announced, in which the high school and university sections of the National Youth Campus Football League will start in June-August, and the junior high school section will start in July.

In the elementary school league, there are four levels of competition: class, school, county and city, with a total of three divisions. There is no competition below the third grade; the fourth grade adopts a 5-a-side system with co-ed teams; the fifth and sixth grades adopt an 8-a-side system with men's and women's teams respectively.

In the junior high school league, there are six levels of competition: class, school, county, city, province and national, and the 11-player system is used. There are 8 divisions in the national tournament, men's and women's B divisions for first-year students; men's and women's A divisions for second- and third-year students; men's and women's challenge divisions in which school teams are free to register; and men's and women's elite divisions in which league A and challenge winning teams compete. The men's A, women's A, men's B and women's B divisions start in July, the challenge tournament starts in September-November, and the elite tournament starts in December.

For the high school league, there are six levels of competition: class, school, county, city, provincial and national, and the 11-player tournament system is used. There are 12 groups in the national tournament, with men's and women's group B for senior students; men's and women's group A for sophomores and juniors; men's and women's middle school group for middle school (junior college) students; men's and women's group for Mainland Tibetan and Xinjiang class students; men's and women's group for Mainland Tibetan and Xinjiang class students; men's and women's group for the national challenge tournament in which school teams are free to register; and league group A, middle school Group A, Middle School Group, Mainland-Tibet-Xinjiang Class Group, and Elite Group for the winning teams of the Challenge. The men's A group, women's A group, men's B group and women's B group will start in November-December, the Mainland Tibet Xinjiang class and middle school class will start in June-August, the challenge tournament will start in September-November, and the elite tournament will start in December.

The university league, with three levels of competition: school, provincial and national, uses an 11-player tournament system. There are 9 divisions in the national tournament, men's and women's campus divisions for undergraduate and graduate level non-sports majors and non-high level sports team students; men's and women's senior high school divisions for senior high school students; and men's super, A and B divisions and women's super and A divisions for undergraduate and graduate level sports majors and high level sports team students, using a ranking system. The high-level men's super group, high-level women's super group, high-level men's group and high-level women's group start in June-August, the campus men's group starts in July, and the campus men's finals, campus women's finals and senior high school men's and women's groups start in August.

For the summer camp, there are 13 divisions according to four levels of selection: county, city, provincial and national, with mixed elementary school, elementary school male A, elementary school male B, elementary school female A, elementary school female B, middle school male A, middle school male B, middle school female A, middle school female B, high school male A, high school male B, high school female A, high school female B. The national tournament is conducted in two stages, the first stage of the provincial best XI in each group is carried out in 8 groups to select the 8 best XI teams in each group, and the second stage through the competition, the national best XI is selected, all the competitions are started in July-August.

The Ministry of Education stressed that the organizational units of school soccer competitions at all levels should take full account of the cycle of student learning, exams and holidays, combined with the national tournament schedule, to develop the competition plan arrangements for the areas under their jurisdiction, to ensure that the tournament time and the main participants do not conflict with other national tournaments, and start the tournament at the right time, as permitted by the New Guan Pneumonia epidemic prevention and control policy. School soccer tournaments not held in 2021 will not be made up due to the impact of the Newcastle pneumonia epidemic.
