The Executive Committee of the OCA, after consultation with all parties concerned, decided today to postpone the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou 2022, originally scheduled to be held from September 10 to 25 this year, with the name and logo of the event remaining unchanged. The new dates will be announced by the OCA, the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee after consensus.

Since obtaining the right to host the 19th Asian Games in 2022, with the guidance and assistance of the OCA and the Chinese Olympic Committee, all parties in our province have actively overcome the impact of the epidemic and promoted the smooth start of the preparatory work for the Asian Games.
